Hi can any aqnyone help me , i am planning to select Cyprus ayia napa as our honeymoon destination for dec. Any travel agent in India who can arrange a package for cyprus?anyone been there before and can tell me about weather etc?

Honestly AgiaNapa is not the best place in December for honeymoon. You will find 2-4 clubs and some pensioners. It will be very quite and cold. For honeymoon not the best place. I suggest to visit Paphos because it is more romantic and interesting for visit in Winter, of course you can hire the car and travel, but for really beautiful honeymoon you need place better then AgiaNapa. Look.. AgiaNapa is the place where young people make awesome parties, drinking, sex on the beaches…

If I had to decide where to spend my honeymoon in Cyprus I would like to Paphos.

Good Luck :)

tryin to do a spanish project. Im trying to compare spanish weddings and american weddings.does anyone have any ideas on how o present this project.

You can’t compare a spanish wedding with an american wedding, because those differences you’re talking about depend on the religion, not the nationality or the language, if you’re catholic, doesn’t matter where you’re from, because it is going to be the same, the only difference is the language.

I’m maid of honor for my best friend who wants to get married in Hawaii, does anyone know of any good websites where we can look into packages and locations? She def wants a beach wedding and we are looking at about 50 people attending, so we also need hotels and all that. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
She is planning to invite about 75, but of those 75, about 50 would definitly come, at the very least about 40. they both have huge families.

Call the hotels that you are most interested in and see if they could give you a special for having so many guests good luck:)

I’m having an inside wedding, no matter what. What is a good fabric/style to go with? Are the lace dresses really more for outdoor/beach weddings??

No, they are definitely not just for beach weddings. Lace dresses are classic and feminine without being sparkly. And lace dresses come in all different types of cuts and silhouettes. It’s really just whatever looks best on your figure and fits the style wedding you are having.

*EDIT: Here are a few links to pictures of lace wedding dresses that would work great for an indoor wedding, just to give you an idea:

I have booked my wedding with the Caribbean Sunset theme designed by Preston Bailey in Montego Bay Jamaica. Is it as pretty as the pictures and was it worth it for the price? Thanks ahead of time for your feed back!

My cousin just did a vow renewal at Sandals Whitehouse. She didn’t go with the Preston Bailey package but a standard package and it was absolutely beautiful. I was quite impressed with the Preston Bailey package as well. A bit pricey, but if it’s your first time getting married I would highly suggest it.

Is it worth having a wedding in the Caribbean? Is Sandals or Breezes better?

SANDALS! It’s an AMAZING memorable experience. No wedding day stress, all sun and fun. Gives people an excuse to go! Sandals even hires someone to marry you, priest, rabbi, whatever you need. Definitely go with Sandals, Bahamas, Jamaica, Cayman Islands, Barbados are my four top choices.

Just got engaged and we want to have a small tropical wedding. Waht’s the best time of year for that and the cheapest time to go??? Can you get vacation packages that include weddings? How do I get a photographer?

It really depends on where you want to go. Spring and fall are usually good, but in some places winter is best. You’ll always want to avoid school’s vacations, because prices get jacked up (keep in mind Canada’s school breaks as well, they like to hit the tropics too!). As far as prices, they really go hand in hand with the best time of year…. I’ve been planning a Key West wedding, and the best time to go is also the most expensive…mid spring. I’ve been re-thinking Key West and now I’m leaning more towards Costa Rica. When you google venues for these places, you’ll find the rates correlating with seasons. It’ll pretty much spell it out to you. A lot of places in the Caribbean include flights, vacations, activities such as swimming with dolphins, food, and everything. When you do the wedding packages, they include almost everything! Cake and all. I recommend finding your own photography though, because you get what you’re given at a resort, and photography is something you don’t want to play with! Good luck.

ADDITION: summer is typically the worst time of year for a tropical wedding due to humidity, heat, rain, and hurricane season. my husband and i were married on 2/16/09 back home in upstate ny. he is active duty army, and when he returns from his deployment from afghanistan, we would like to have our dream wedding. does anyone have any good information on weddings in hawaii or the u.s. virgin islands? thanks in advance!
we do want an actual wedding since we got married in a courthouse two weeks before he deployed.

You are already married. So plan a honeymoon instead.

did you regret it?
not having a ceremony or do you just have one later in a few months or so? how much does it cost?

They’re about as romantic as a shotgun wedding.
Go for the ceremony! Go for the aisle, the organ music, the vows before God, the whole nine yards!
Make it memorable.
Cost depends on where you go.
I have a cousin that married outside in front of a huge flowering lilac. Beautiful.
But, I prefer a church. Court is someplace you NEVER want to be.

Me and my future wife are looking to elope and we want to get married with the captian marries you. want cruise line does this and what are the best ones to go on for just couples?

Even though it is believed to be a regular event, a ship’s captain generally doesn’t have the legal right to perform a wedding at sea. In order for a Captain of a ship to perform a marriage at sea, he must be a judge, a justice of the peace, a minister or an officially recognize officiant such as a Notary Public.

Through Bermuda law, and because the captains have Bermuda licenses to perform weddings, captains aboard Bermuda Registered ships can officiate your wedding… and this is why Princess is known to have weddings onboard, as some of their ships are Registered in the Bahamas.
Weddings are that big buisness at sea in fact that P&O have changed the registry of one of their cruise ships to Bermuda stating just this reason.

A romantic alternative is to have your wedding aboard ship while it is docked in a port. You need to follow the port’s requirements for such a wedding. All cruise lines offer this option.

Many cruise lines will require that once in port, you will need to leave the ship, swear before a judge that everything is correct with previous prepared paperwork, then go back to the ship for your ceremony.

If you want to renew your vows at sea, you need to show proof of a valid marriage.

If the captain obtains a temporary permit to perform your wedding, a Cruise West captain can officiate your wedding within Alaska waterways
